First of all, it is my honor to share my journey from being a local high schooler to becoming a world-class EMBA student. I hope my experience will benefit anyone who is currently on their journey to an MBA or considering, puzzling over, and wondering how to start, what the journey looks like, and how EduSmith helped me with my MBA journey as well as what the world-class EMBA experience is like.

To begin with, my gratitude goes to my parents for providing me with the conditions to be successful. Without their vision, I would not be where I am today. Since high school, I was not an academic person at all. I enjoyed spending time with my friends from Assumption College playing sports, participating in music contests, and engaging in most of the school activities. I graduated with an average GPA but was fortunate enough to get into one of the best Civil Engineering schools in Thailand, BangMod. Coming from a family business background, I was more excited about the real business world than the academic world of engineering. I was more focused on where my dad would take me to gain real-world experience rather than on classroom calculations. I was also more excited about business-related knowledge such as finance and economics, which made me realize, “I have to do an MBA.” Fortunately, I managed to graduate from Civil Engineering school with an average GPA.

I always wanted to do an MBA outside Thailand to broaden my knowledge, but I didn’t know how to start. Luckily, someone introduced me to EduSmith, and I decided to use their services because I believed that with professional help, I could shorten the time needed to learn about doing an MBA overseas. I started by choosing business schools that I thought fit my interests, and with EduSmith’s help, I learned how to prepare for GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL scores and how to prepare applications for each school. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit, and both my new business and my family business suffered due to the pandemic. It took me around three years to adjust to the new dynamics, and the EduSmith team was flexible and understanding of my situation. After going through many challenges, I decided to shift my goal from an MBA to an EMBA, and Manisha helped me select the business schools that matched my interests. Time was what mattered most to me, and Manisha greatly assisted me in the application process. To those looking for a consultant, choosing one is like selecting a partner.

Finally, I received an offer from the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program. Thank you to EduSmith for being a great partner and to the school for offering me this chance to pursue my dream MBA. I am very happy with the result, and my cohorts, faculty, and alumni are amazing, making this one of the most precious experiences of my life.
